Holiday Ham Recipe

Serves 20-25
    • 15 pounds bone-in ham
    • 1 cup dark brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup honey
    • 1 1/4 tbsp cornstarch
    • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
    • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
    • pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place ham on a rack in a foil lined roasting pan. Tent the ham with aluminum foil. Bake the rounded side up until internal temperature reads 130 degrees, approximately 2 hours.

Over medium heat, mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. Stir slowly until glaze thickens.

Rub on half of the glaze and bake for 30 minutes. Flip the ham over and rub on remaining glaze and bake for 1 hour or until internal temperature reads 140 degrees. Remove from oven and allow the ham to rest for 30 minutes before serving.
