Summer Dinner Party

Dear Dinner Party Host
Below is a fun menu and an hour-by-hour check list to help you prepare an amazing end of summer meal. Also, a few party favor ideas are included below if you are feeling extra ambitious.

Before inviting your friends, cut & paste this info to keep somewhere safe or you can always find it here on our blog. Then, edit the min/max number of people, RSVP-by date, and the chip-in to your liking. Most of the recipes provided are intended for 4 people, so double, triple, or quadruple the ingredients for the number of guests you choose! Next, click edit details to the right and make this event description your own (you can delete this paragraph if you want). Then all you have to do is publish the event and invite your friends, you’ll be dinner partying before you know it!

Roasted Grapes with Thyme, Ricotta, and Grilled Bread

Preparation:
Week Before:
☐Buy and assemble table setting materials. Whimsical decor such as these straws, this tablecloth, or these mason jar mugs make a party really special!
☐Buy and assemble gift bags (if making them)
Night Before:
☐Make the berry cobbler pie bars.

~If you’re using frozen berries, defrost them during the day.

☐Make sure the dishwasher (or sink) is clear.
Morning of the party:
☐Make the cucumber simple syrup and refrigerate.
☐Make the glaze for the kebabs, let it cool, and refrigerate.
4 hours till the party:
☐Prepare the table setting and lay out all serving dishes.
☐Lay out all non-perishable ingredients.
3 hours till the party:
☐ Chop up veggies going on your kebab (peaches and sweet potatoes), radishes and mint.
2 hours till the party:
☐ Chop up the watermelon. Grate the cucumber
Hour Before:
☐Prepare your drink. Mix it all in a blender. Pour into a pitcher and refrigerate
☐Heat up your grill (or grill pan) and turn on the oven to 450 degrees. Grill the bread and roast the grapes. ☐Assemble the appetizers Keep the grill heated.
When Guests Arrive:
☐Make the kebabs and pecans
☐Make the radishes
☐Toss a simple arugula salad
☐Serve!
